Along the Lake Resort - Maine

On a grey night approximately 40 miles outside of Bangor, Drew and Sara allowed me to stay at their newly constructed resort. At this point, they were completing the cafe and the resort should be open to the public soon. They were extremely gracious by sharing their dinner and allowing me to stay in one of the new cabins. The cabin itself was a standalone house with an incredible interior and had all the amenities of home. Being who I am, I didn't want to wear out my short stay by accepting everything they offered and decided to only take a shower in the cabin and then camp along the lake with the geese and ducks. Even through the dark day and drizzy night, I could see this was a very nice property.

Had Sara not gone to the nearby town to pick up a newspaper to determine how to advertise for the resort, I would probably be tenting behind some trees in the woods outside of Bangor.
