During the time since Luke and I have been riding together, he had mentioned or I had asked, many times about the horse sanctuary we would be stopping by for one night. I had even considered staying (if possible) at the ranch near Edgemont, South Dakota, to volunteer instead of returning home so quickly. Today would be the day we would finally arrive at the ranch we talked in tales.
