Now it was time to drop them off at Walker Pass, which would place them ahead of us by 200 miles. They were planning on visiting some friends and taking zero days somewhere ahead, and their final destination was somewhere in Oregon before returning to Canada. Sheila and Glenn were 2 of the first hikers I've met back at Laguna, which seemed just a dream ago. It would be nice to catch up with them again and exchange hiking stories, but I knew this was the last moments we had together on the trail [photo copyright 2003 George Li]- I think this was the main reason I decided to come along this morning.
